Senior Accounting Specialist needs 5+ years’ experience

Senior Accounting Specialist requires:

• Vendor Management

• Understanding of W9/W8’s

• Understanding of 1099’s

• Journal Entries

• Reconciliations

• Variance Analysis

• GAAP

• Multi-State Sales & Use Tax

• Accruals

• SOX

• Intermediate Excel skills

Senior Accounting Specialist duties:

• Utilizes knowledge of accounting regulations and policies to ensure compliance in all activities

• Assists in month-end close activities, high-volume reconcilement of accounts, and data analysis to ensure accuracy of the Bank’s financial statements.

• Researches and addresses customer inquiries

• Assists with system changes and testing including upgrades, troubleshooting, and new system searches.

• Partners with other business units to accomplish these tasks.
