Demand Materials Planner

Demand Materials Planner needs 2-5 years of experience in a purchasing, demand planning and/or materials planning experience

Demand Materials Planner requires:

• SAP knowledge and use

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software skills and a demonstrated ability to develop Excel spreadsheets

• Purchasing, demand planning and/or materials planning experience

Demand Materials Planner duties:

• Utilizes demand forecasts and production schedules to create and maintain raw material supply plan and master production schedules.

• Interfaces with manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, technical support, purchasing and R&D to ensure availability of necessary raw materials.

• Ensures that raw material shortages are identified and resolved in a timely manner

• Drives the resolution process of MRP exceptions and resolves MRP discrepancies.

• Reviews open order reports and other indicators to ensure a timely delivery of raw material to support production schedules
