Senior Network Engineer needs 5+ years of professional network engineering hands-on experience in a medium to large organization of 1000+ employees spread across large geographic areas.

Senior Network Engineer requires:

• CCNA, CCNP Preferred

• 5+ years of professional network engineering hands-on experience in a medium to large organization of 1000+ employees spread across large geographic areas.

• Work experience in supporting network infrastructure.

• Demonstrated operations experience with complex routed IP networks, layer two/three switches, advanced routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN networking hardware, and protocols.

• Must have Strong IP data networking knowledge with practical network troubleshooting experience.

• Experience in supporting multi-site data and VOIP in an SDWAN/IWAN environment.

• Expertise in IP LAN/WAN principles.

• Proven experience with voice/data circuits and VPN connectivity.

• Familiar with video conferencing, wireless technologies, Datacenter technology, experience with Cisco Nexus switches, and familiarity with VMWare Virtualization technologies and network storage protocols.

• Routing protocols –BGP and OSPF

• Packet capture and analysis.

• Experience working with diverse carrier circuits MPLS, DIA, T1, broadband, satellite, and Cellular circuits.

• Cisco Catalyst Switch family (9500,4500,3850,3750) for campus LAN switches. And Nexus 5K and 9K for Core switching and SAN connectivity.

• Devices to support SDWAN infrastructure and configurations

• S2S VPN and remote user connectivity through AnyConnect

• Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto firewalls, IPS, Security Intelligence.

• Support security technologies such as Dot1x, Cisco ISE, Tacacs, Umbrella/OpenDNS, Carbon Black for endpoints, and SumoLogic.

• Experience with cabling and device installation.

• Wireless - Preferred Aruba wireless.

• Monitoring tools such as Solarwinds NPM, SAM, IPAM, NCM, and LEM

Senior Network Engineer duties:

• Implement network design and security requirements based on business strategies and requirements. Meets with the stakeholders to gather data about the business needs of a project

• Work with the Sr. Network Engineer developing requirements for LAN, WAN, VPN, Wireless, routers, switches, firewalls, and related security and network devices.

• Implement network technologies meeting best practices in security and network design. Configure, install and troubleshoot new and existing infrastructure to support the enterprise. Escalate technical troubleshooting issues
