Remote Snr Infrastructure Engineer needs 8+ years’ Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting/coding languages and 10+ years’ Microsoft SQL Server Engineering experience

Remote Snr Infrastructure Engineer requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (required)

• 10 + years of experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Engineer

• Engineering Microsoft SQL platforms. (required)

• Develop new features and services of low to medium complexity in collaboration with product, platform, infrastructure, and security teams.

• Create Runbooks, Standard Operating Processes, and conducting knowledge transfers to Operation Teams and Contractors.

• Deliver clean, secure, and performant solutions and technology components that meet all non-functional requirements.

• Act as a Lead Engineer for medium to large initiatives, prioritizing and assigning tasks, providing guidance, and resolving issues.

• Lead and participate in the development of process definitions, best practices, and standards.

• Identify new technologies for consideration in modern technology directions and implementing proof of concepts to validate these technologies.

• 8 + years of experience Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripting/coding languages such as Transact-SQL (T-SQL), Python, and PowerShell.

• Applications, with experience using Ansible, GitHub, Control-M, Jira, and Confluence. (preferred)

• Adhere to SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley compliance)

• Develop technical application and service roadmaps, including recommending and initiating IT-driven projects.
