Scientist Antibody Discovery requires:
• PhD in Biochemistry, Biomedical/Chemical Engineering, Immunology, or related field with minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience (preferably in industry), MS with 8+ years of research experience, BS with 10+ years of research experience in antibody or protein engineering
• Strong background in molecular biology, antibody and protein expression, and biophysical characterization of recombinant antibodies and proteins
• Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across various scientific disciplines and other parts of the organization to meet end goals
• Highly motivated individual with exceptionally good organizational skills, and attention to details •
• Experience in single domain antibodies, multi-specific antibody engineering, Fc engineering, antibody drug conjugates, naïve phage or yeast display library design
• Experience in NGS analysis for antibody discovery and engineering
• Significant contributions to successful biologics drug discovery programs in biotech/biopharma industry
Scientist Antibody Discovery duties:
• Design strategies and execute antibody discovery campaigns for therapeutic and reagent antibodies using phage display
• Generate antibody fragment libraries for antibody discovery and engineering, perform HT binding screens (ELISA and multi-plex flow cytometry) and sequence analysis to generate hits
• Rank-order clones by affinity, in vitro potency, and early developability assessment
• Execute sequence optimization of lead antibodies to improve developability and binding affinity
