Senior Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect requires:

AWS Certified: AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum of eight years of experience architecting and implementing GCP cloud solutions.

• Google Certified: GCP Solutions Architect Professional certification.

• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex migrations with multiple stakeholders.

• Experience with GCP cloud technologies and migration strategies.

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Deployment Manager, Terraform) and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

• Experience with GCP DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• ITIL Foundations certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, etc.) and their integration.

• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and experience with automation frameworks.

• Experience delivering IT services in support of a biomedical research environment.

 Help users conceptualize and design comprehensive GCP solutions, providing guidance on resource allocation, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization.

 Develop and maintain comprehensive cloud architecture blueprints for enterprise applications and workloads.

 Evaluate and recommend the most suitable GCP services and configurations for optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.

 Design scalable and resilient cloud solutions that meet workload owners’ specific requirements.

 Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like GCP Deployment Manager and Terraform.
