Snr Biologist needs 5-7 years’ experience
Snr Biologist requires:
- PhD or equivalent with 1 to 3 years, or MS with 3 to 5 years of experience on assay development,
- AAV experience
- Scientific training and hands-on experience with various cell-based and molecular assays, including but not limited to 2D and /3D cell culture, cell-based potency assay, ELISA, western, qPCR, RT-qPCR, and DNA/RNA/protein extraction from cells and animal (including NHP) tissues
- Experience with organoid
- Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented
- Experience using Benchling for lab activity documentation
- Good written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
- Use the current available technologies and explore novel techniques/technologies as appropriate.
Snr Biologist duties:
- Work closely with a team of scientists to advance AAV based gene therapies.
- Develop, optimize, and execute bioanalytical assays to characterize AAV vectors designed for various therapeutic programs and to evaluate PK/PD profiles of such vector in appropriate model systems.
- Perform sample analysis per established method or SOP
- Contribute to the tech transfer of developed assays to internal or external collaborators
- Support internal Translational lab operation and maintenance
- Perform data analysis and author/ review method SOP, assay development summary and report
