Immigration specialist needs 5+ years in professional fields, preferably in HR

Immigration specialist requires:

 Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field

 5+ years in professional fields, preferably in HR

 Experience with global immigration work and residence permit for expat country-to-country moves, nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, H-1B1, B-1, E-3, F-1, J-1, L-1, and O-1 visas), PERM labor certifications as well as immigrant visas.

 Ability to train others on immigration practice and procedures, review work, and prepare training documents.

 Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 Proven experience developing trusted relationships at all levels of an organization including senior level talent to drive programs.

 Excellent organization and time management skills, strong attention to detail, proven history of managing projects, meeting deadlines, and producing excellent deliverables.

Immigration specialist duties:

 Collaborate with our external immigration attorneys to manage all aspects of business visitor visas, employment visas, permanent residency applications, and citizenship applications, ensuring exceptional service.

 Guide visa processing times, sponsorship requirements, associated risks, and costs for potential candidates.

 Maintain and review visa tracker, ensuring timely initiation and filing of extensions.

 Ensure full compliance with immigration records maintenance.

 Draft and complete visa/travel letters as needed.
